This week’s Six has me remembering family vacations to Tennessee. Suspension bridges were not my friend. lol How Emma can stand them, I haven’t a clue.
(Since it’s Halloween, we’ll just overlook those couple extra sentences this week…)
“You won’t hurt me.” His voice simmered with anger. “It would mean touching me, which you haven’t done since I came back.” He pulled me stumbling closer, grabbing my chin, and forcing my head back. “I saw you on that bridge tonight. What were you thinking?” His obsidian eyes flashed sterling bright. “If you wanted to fly, I have wings. Use them, use me.”
