Instructor: Jodi Henley. Got character? No plot? Can't figure out what happens next or why the middle is blank and the beginning doesn't work? Use organic pre-thinking and your own personal structures to create the story that is right for both your characters and you. Covers core events, emotional understructures, the transformational arc and how to find missing pieces. There are no templates, and nothing here is one-size fits all. Everything is written in plain-English and designed to be both practical and hands-on. Because of the structure of this multi-layered approach, please come prepared to work, you'll be glad you did. Because of the nature of this workshop, the participants are strongly encouraged to have a work in progress or a very strong idea of their people and the "shape" of their story. I look forward to seeing you.

* The “her” in question is the heroine’s daughter. 🙂
Six Sentence Sunday

Not too shabby. 😉
More blood bubbled from his neck and wet his shirtfront. I tossed aside the blade and heard it clatter, a distant annoyance that broke the rhythm of my chant. Louder and louder my voice climbed as I used his blood to ink runes on his skin. The empty well where my power resided overflowed as Zaniah accepted my offering. Her pleasure was a purr in the back of my mind, the restoration of my powers a temporary boon.
Masculine fingers dug into my skin, but Dillon couldn’t sway me from my course.
