For a while A Hint of Frost was only free on Amazon.com (and B&N and Samhain direct), but now it’s available as a free download from Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, and Amazon.ca.
Thanks to everyone who has downloaded Frost to try! A few days ago it went as low as #8 on Amazon.com. It’s sitting around 1,400 on B&N. Very cool. I’ve never had a freebie, so it’s been a blast to watch the rankings drop.
I hope this exposes my Araneae series to more readers who will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it. 😀
Hailey writes about questionable applications of otherwise perfectly good magic, the transformative power of love, the family you choose for yourself, and blowing stuff up. Not necessarily all at once. That could get messy.

I received a kindle from my daughter for Christmas and “A Hint of Frost” was a freebie that I decided to take a chance on (not knowing anything of your writing). I was delightfully surprised and enjoy the reading immensely (the end of the story being a bonus, of sorts).
I’m launching a WordPress site with reviews of books, music, and such. Planning on giving it a glowing review and look forward to the other books in the series.
Great work!

Hi John,
I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed reading A Hint of Frost, and I appreciate you taking the time to review it on your site.
How awesome is your daughter for buying you a Kindle? I love mine. Well, I switched to a Paperwhite recently, but I’ve loved each generation of Kindle I’ve owned. I’m sure you’ll get a lot of use out of yours.
Best,
Hailey

I took the free bait and you got me hooked! The book has a good balance of adventure and romance I really enjoyed. I bought A Feast of Souls and I can’t wait to read more Araneae Nation books.

Hi Tracey,
Thank you! It’s great to hear you enjoyed A Hint of Frost. I will admit as much as I loved writing Lourdes and Rhys, Vaughn is my favorite hero in the series. I hope you like his story too.
All my best,
Hailey
