This week’s six is another snippet from Dillon’s book.
Happy Fourth to all those celebrating!
He rubbed the membranous film of my wings between his fingers and my knees buckled.
“Remove your hand,” I said, breathless, “or you will regret it.”
For a moment, he let me think he’d do as I’d asked. He let me curse my mouth for ever having opened. Then he glanced up with silver eyes gone molten, and I wondered if he’d heard me at all.
His lips curved as he said, “I somehow doubt that.”

Oh I really like your six, building up some beautiful tension, and I love the word membranous, I said it out load like three times, feels so good in the mouth. Thank -you.

Sounds like she won’t be able to make him regret it. She’d be melted by his touch instead. Nice six!

Yay! I think Dillon’s book will surprise a lot of people. When the male who holds his glamour tightest around him lets it slip…his reveal will be something special. 😉
