While I was in New Orleans for the RT convention, I toured the Destrehan Plantation with a few of my friends. It was beautiful! Sadly, because of traffic, we missed the last guided tour of the day. It all worked out in the end, though. We let my friend, Debbie, a NO native, guide us around the plantation. She had been so often, she knew most of the history and was able to fill us in on the interesting bits.

After taking a year (or so) off blogging, I’m baaaack. I’m going to stop using my Tumblr blog as a landing page and start updating information here. Expect pictures, book reviews and randomness. That might change in the future, but for now I’m feeling the blog.
