It’s been a while since I’ve had time to participate in Six Sunday. It’s good to be back.
I remember the night stars rained from the sky and the world caught fire.
I danced in the flames. Let my human skin burn to cinders and my spirit soar.
That was how they found me, the villagers, my body smudged with ashes and embers in my hair. The village lay in ruins around me, with corpses smoking and livestock shrieking in terror.
Swaying to the hiss and crackle of destruction, drunk on the remnants of chaos, I must have been a sight.
