He let me sidestep him, then fisted the laces running parallel to my spine. “You’ll never find your way from the lower tunnels alone.” I ignored the slight scraping of his nail as his finger slid between my gown and silken chemise. “Come on.” He tugged. “I’ll take you to your room.”
