Six Sentence Sunday
I had an exciting week. I turned thirty on Thursday and got my first pair of glasses on Friday.
The first thing I noticed? Trees have leaves! Not green blobs!
Memories from his enslavement scrubbed his thoughts raw. Drawing his glamour closer, he exhaled through the tightness in his throat and unfastened the top buttons of his shirt. No collar. No choke chain. No reason to panic. Breathe.

30 is such a great age! I had a great time at 30. I didn’t need reading glasses until I was past 45, but it’s great not to have to squint, isn’t it? And your six? Gutwrenching!
Haileysays
It is nice to lose most of the squint. I think a lot of mine is still eyestrain. *sigh* Too bad there’s not a cure for that. Other than taking a break, which, yeah. Who has time for that? LOL
Had to laugh at your glasses comment—I got my first pair in second grade, but my reaction was exactly the same. “Holy crap, that’s what leaves look like?!” And just as importantly—great six, Hailey.
