I knew I had been sick this week, but I didn’t realize how sick until I forgot to post SSS. Sorry for the delay. Here is my excerpt.
My claws lengthened and drummed against the half-raised glass, plinking like raindrops on the windowpane. Dillon shook his head as if saying not now, I’m busy. As if I weren’t worth his time. A frustrated growl rumbled in my chest as he stiffly set off for the far side of the yard.
Dillon. I hadn’t meant to think his name.
