Can you hear me squeeing right now? Everlong’s print edition is live as of…right now! How cool is that? Blame it on the holidays, but I haven’t gotten author copies yet. The first time I’ll see a physical copy is when Dawn’s arrives for me to go all John Hancocky over.  Should be fun. 😉

As an added bonus…do you know what today is? Probably not. I got all wrapped up in bookish things and didn’t think of it, either. Mom had to remind me. Today is one year my dad has been cancer-free. How astounding is that? Surgery over, nightmare behind us, he’s 100% well and recovered much faster than we’d ever hoped.

Phew. I know I’m blessed to still have Dad, and I can promise you I never let a chance pass me by to tell him how glad I am he’s still here, how much I love him, and what a positive influence he’s been on me my entire life.

Today is also the first day back to school after the holiday break…so I’m off to do mommy things. I’ll clear up some time in my schedule for more squeeing tonight. 😉
